The California State University, Sacramento Department of Counselor Education places Counselors in Training (CIT's) at Alliance schools each semester. These CIT's provide free individual, group, family, and career counseling during both day and evening hours for children, youth, and families.

These services are available at the school-based Counseling Centers and at the community-based Alliance for Excellence Counseling Center.

The Alliance for Excellence Counseling Center is a satellite of San Juan's White House Counseling Center and provides Sacramento County's Division of Mental Health services to high-risk students.
